When the 1934-1935 school year started, it was the beginning of a new era on Piedmont Road. 1934 was the inaugural school year for Vinson High School. Over the next 64 years, thousands of students and staff walked the halls of VHS making lifelong memories. Many of the memories made then are still treasured today.

The VHS Archives include class photos, team pictures and awards, and special recognition items including a picture of the first VHS Boys Basketball Team (1934) and the last VHS Boys Basketball Team (1998).
